Blue Sky Pearl 3pc Vintage Maple Kit

A great jazz kit built towards that great Gretsch feel. Our thicker vintage style maple shells built with thick poplar inner plies and wide maple reinforcement rings are made to replicate older American style shells to produce a warmer tone and that vintage feel. Sizes include – 8×12″ tom, 14×14″ floor, 14×18″ kick. The added die cast hoops allow for wider tuning range without sacrificing tone and to bring out better highs, and the Gretsch style reproduction lugs all add to the vintage look. We cut a unique rounded 30 degree bearing edge on all drums to add that fat old school sound that was common on these style kits. Matched with high quality chromed hardware and the blue sky pearl wrap with all satin black hoops and matching inlays create a great vintage jazz 3pc kit. Other features include a vintage style rail bass drum mount, lightweight vintage folding spurs, modern DSS suspension systems, fiberskyn heads all around, and rounded butterfly claws.

7×14″ Cherry Swirl Snare

This custom veneer is man-made from actual wood to create this psychedelic look. The 7×14″ all birch shell with custom veneer is naturally finished under our rich high gloss clear coat. Hardware includes black nickel parts with full length tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, and a Trick multi step throwoff. Great focused pop and bottom end out of this unique snare drum.

5.5×14″ Solid Shell AAA Grade Birdseye Maple Snare

It’s hard to find a quality steambent solid maple shell with this amount of AAA grade birdseye figuring. This 5.5×14″ single ply shell was an overstock made for a very well known drum company’s limited anniversary snare series. After acquiring the raw shell, we used our signature finish steps to our allow the grain to pop and the figure to dance once under our high gloss clear coat. Coupled with chrome hardware and rounded bearing edges creates this classic snare drum. Hardware includes vintage style chrome over brass tube lugs, die cast hoops, Dunnett R4 throwoff and Remo drumheads. Made for one of our best drum customers, who’s collected over 8 different CT drums thus far.
