Marbelizer Paint Design Colors

A creatively custom paint design, where no two are identical. Each drum is completely unique.

Available under our supreme high gloss, satin or matte sheen topcoats. Samples are shown over solid black basecoats, but any color can be used. Silver Metallic can be used as a basecoat under any of our Kandy Color Tints for a ton of depth in the finish that’s a mile deep. Fades and bursts are also available.

Add multiple colors for even more awesomeness! Custom colors also available.

Sparkle Flake Colors (Paint)

We use some of the best available paint products, including our sparkle flakes. They have unbelievable brilliance and shimmer with tons of colors to choose from.

These sample pictures show different lighting and how it changes the color of the flake.

Top left = direct sun or stage lights
middle = medium color most seen
bottom right = dark room or in the shade

Different size flakes are available. From ultra mini flake (.002″), mini flake (.004″), our standard size medium flake (.008″), and large flake (.015″). A larger flake will have greater shimmer and reflect more light, while smaller flake has greater coverage of color and a smoother look.

Kandy Color Tints are available over silver flake for intense depth of color and custom options. Fades and bursts available. Mix colors or flake sizes for extra variations.

All available under our premium high gloss, satin, or matte sheen topcoats.

Purple Kandy Fade Paint Job

We did this custom paint job for a good friend on his own handmade maple stave shells. This was a custom blend of 2 colors creating this vibrant Purple Kandy that fades to natural maple under our high gloss finish. These raw shell pictures are before we buffed them to a flat mirror finish, and then one completed by the customer with his choice of parts. 5pc Custom Painted Blood Red Marbelizer

An amazing custom painted drum kit for our good friend and amazing credited drummer KARL WILCOX of the well known hard rock band DIAMONDHEAD. This is only one of a few kits we have scheduled for Karl for his US and European tours this year alone. Be on the lookout for this kit and others with his solo side projects.
This Players Series Maple drumkit was custom painted high gloss blood red over black marbelizer which creates an unusual swirled marble design with metallic red flake. An unreal finish and fully custom! Hardware includes solid made chrome over brass mini 1″ tube lugs inline, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, heavy duty pro spurs and floor tom brackets, Yamaha YESS mounts on rack toms to work with the customer’s reliable stands, rubber gasketed die cast bass hoop claws. Drum sizes are 8×10″ tom, 9×12″ tom, 12×14″ Floor, 14×16″ floor, 18×22″ kick.

7×14″ Birdseye Maple With Caribbean Blue Burst & Custom Lugs

This Players Series 10ply Maple drum was dressed with an exotic birdseye maple veneer that has tons of AAA figure and an insane amount of dense grain. We custom painted a new Kandy transparent color custom blended in house called “Caribbean Blue” to natural burst in high gloss that enhances the exotic birdseye figure and pops the grain. This drum was built for Chris Kennedy of QUICK ACTION DRUM LUGS as a show model to promote his quick release custom made lugs. These unique lugs are made so that you only have to partially loosen the tension rods and then turn the whole hoop and the head is released for quick changing. This snare is a 7×14″ maple with all chrome hardware, including UNO quick release lugs, 2.3mm heavy duty triple flanged hoops, a Dunnett R4 swivel throwoff, and Remo drumheads.



4pc Custom Painted Satin Black

A cool custom painted Players Series kit in all satin gloss piano black with a satin white painted stripe on the bass hoops to replicate an inlay. The satin gloss topcoat is a specialty clear coat that is the same quality of our high gloss lacquer but with a custom flattening agent to keep a low sheen, much like a cool hotrod. Unlike our satin stain series, this is a heavier clear coat that works with any basecoat, from transparent, solids, sparkle flakes, kandy, etc. The satin black looks killer with the all chrome hardware, including 1″ mini tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, heavy duty brackets, pro spurs, and die cast claws. The sizes include 9×13″ rack tom, 14×16″ & 16×18″ floor toms, and a punchy 20×22″ kick drum.
