7×14″ Solid Segment Purpleheart

Pimp = purple and gold for sure. A killer segmented shell of solid exotic wood Purpleheart in natural high gloss lacquer. Yup, no stains or dyes used, leave it up to mother nature to create this naturally beautiful wood. Coupled with all brass hardware really makes the colors pop. This a 7×14″ shell for extra depth and tone which is already enhanced by the 1/2″ thick solid wood segments. It includes full length tube lugs, Trick multi step throwoff, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, Remo drumheads and our new phosphorous bronze 20 strand snare wires.

5.5×14″ Polished Aluminum Bling!

Just got done taping up the box for this drum being shipped to Canada. It is our Aluminum Series snare drum in a high polished mirror like finish with all chrome hardware for the cleanest silvery bling possible! Our Aluminum Series drums are 1/8″ (3mm) thick shells with a perfectly cut fully rounded bearing edge that helps to cut down on the typical overtones of metal snares. Aluminum shells are about the driest sounding of all metal shells and has a chunky tone. The added heavy die cast hoops focus the shell further and add explosive rimshots. A very aggressive metal snare with a broad tuning range and versatility. This drum is fitted with all chrome hardware, including a Trick multi step throwoff, die cast hoops, full length tube lugs and a 42 strand German Brass wire set.

6.5×14″ Burnt Sienna with 4.5mm Rolled Steel Hoops

A great mix of old school with modern tech. The shell is a thin 7ply all maple construction with added 7ply reinforcement rings. This shell creates a very fat, open body with a touch of focus and cut from the re-rings. The 4.5mm cold rolled steel hoops are similar to vintage single flange hoops that give the drum a more boxy, older tone but since the hoops are much thicker and are heavy steel, they produce more cut and heavy rimshots. These hoops can be considered a cross of die cast and single flanged hoops. A very deep sounding drum with good crack and plenty of punch. Finished in our popular Burnt Sienna Satin Stain. Fitted with the best hardware available, including a new all chrome Trick multi step throwoff, chrome over solid brass tube lugs, steel mini claws, Remo drumheads and German snare wires.


Wrap Choices

We use all the most popular wraps available on the market, as well as the ability to order custom sheets per order. Some of the wraps are available in vintage style sparkle to modern shimmery glass glitters, and classic style marine pearls, oysters, onyx, silk ripples, and solids.

Custom colors in all styles are available along with fades or bursts or custom logos and artwork. Custom topcoat sheens are available in our standard high gloss, satin, metallic, or matte level finishes. Color stripes are also available in any style.

Exotic Wood Veneers

We search for only AAA grade wood veneers or higher for our drums.  Each sheet is hand picked for its figure, color, and uniqueness.  If you order a kit or multiple drums, all veneers are sequence matched for a perfect blended look.

All veneers can be finished with our premium high gloss, satin or matte sheen topcoats.  Stains and Kandy Color Tints are also available, as well as fades, bursts or solids.  Wood stripes of varying wood species can be added.

Marbelizer Paint Design Colors

A creatively custom paint design, where no two are identical. Each drum is completely unique.

Available under our supreme high gloss, satin or matte sheen topcoats. Samples are shown over solid black basecoats, but any color can be used. Silver Metallic can be used as a basecoat under any of our Kandy Color Tints for a ton of depth in the finish that’s a mile deep. Fades and bursts are also available.

Sparkle Flake Colors (Paint)

We use some of the best available paint products, including our sparkle flakes. They have unbelievable brilliance and shimmer with tons of colors to choose from.

These sample pictures show different lighting and how it changes the color of the flake.

Top left = direct sun or stage lights
middle = medium color most seen
bottom right = dark room or in the shade

Different size flakes are available. From ultra mini flake (.002″), mini flake (.004″), our standard size medium flake (.008″), and large flake (.015″). A larger flake will have greater shimmer and reflect more light, while smaller flake has greater coverage of color and a smoother look.

Kandy Color Tints are available over silver flake for intense depth of color and custom options. Fades and bursts available. Mix colors or flake sizes for extra variations.

All available under our premium high gloss, satin, or matte sheen topcoats.

6×13″ Segment Wenge & Bloodwood Snare

A custom shell we worked on for a repeat customer. This shell is a 6×13″ segment solid wood that is 9/16″ thick made of exotic Wenge with a Bloodwood center stripe. Segment shells are constructed much like a brick pattern that utilize solid wood pieces, much like our Stave Shells but in a different construction. We hosed the shell down with a ton super high gloss clear coat and buffed to a perfect mirror-like finish. The snare is dressed with all brass hardware including full length tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, P86 throwoff and butt plate, and remo drumheads w/ german snare wires.
