6.5×14″ Curly Maple Snare

A Players Series 6.5×14″ maple 10ply shell with an outer exotic curly maple veneer and added 6ply reinforcement rings. Finished in natural satin stain that really pops the unique curly wood figuring with all chrome hardware. A new chrome plated Trick multi-step throwoff, full length tube lugs x10, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, Remo drumheads, and German snare wires. This drum has a very wide tuning range and extra sensitivity due to the added re-rings which help lead this drum for any style of music or player. A very versatile drum with a killer look.

6.5×13″ Blood Red Satin Stain Snare

Built for MIKE DAVI of the rock band DAMAURA. This is his second CT snare drum. A Players Series 6.5×13″ maple 10ply shell in a custom blended color “blood red”. The stain has a very dark red base with flowing highlights of lighter cherry colored grain while popping the unique wood figuring. All black nickel hardware includes double ended GN snare lugs, a Trick multi-step throwoff, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, Remo drumheads, and a set of German brass snare wires. This drum has a ton of pop and volume with great crack and sensitivity due to the thicker 10ply and 13″ diameter, with plenty of open tone and wide tuning range with the triple flanged hoops.

Another custom blended color stain kit…

All of our wood color stains are mixed in house. This gives us ultimate control in exactly which shade of color you would like and to make sure there is nothing “stock” about your drumkit. This color was actually a mix of 3 different stains to achieve our newest color – “Golden Brown”, a rich deep brown with a hint of amber glow. All black nickel hardware pulls the whole kit together. This kit was made for DREW CUEVA of STATIC THOUGHT and was literally finished the night before their US/Canadian tour. Sizes are 18×22″ kick, 9×12″ tom, 16×16″ floor tom, 6×14″ snare. A maple Players Series kit with a 10ply snare installed with 6ply reinforcement rings for extra cut and full tone.

5pc Custom Painted Blood Red Marbelizer

An amazing custom painted drum kit for our good friend and amazing credited drummer KARL WILCOX of the well known hard rock band DIAMONDHEAD. This is only one of a few kits we have scheduled for Karl for his US and European tours this year alone. Be on the lookout for this kit and others with his solo side projects.
This Players Series Maple drumkit was custom painted high gloss blood red over black marbelizer which creates an unusual swirled marble design with metallic red flake. An unreal finish and fully custom! Hardware includes solid made chrome over brass mini 1″ tube lugs inline, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, heavy duty pro spurs and floor tom brackets, Yamaha YESS mounts on rack toms to work with the customer’s reliable stands, rubber gasketed die cast bass hoop claws. Drum sizes are 8×10″ tom, 9×12″ tom, 12×14″ Floor, 14×16″ floor, 18×22″ kick.

3pc White Satin Stain w/ Black Nickel Hardware

Custom kit made for ZACH PEACH of Sensual Saint and This Is Radiation.  A Players Series Maple kit in White Satin Stain with all black nickel hardware.  We custom fitted this kit with GN Single Point lugs along with pro spurs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, die cast claws, and heavy duty round brackets on the floor tom.  This kit sounds as amazing as it looks!  Just ask Zach!  You will hear this kit on their next album due out soon, and see it on the road on their followup tour.

7×14″ Birdseye Maple With Caribbean Blue Burst & Custom Lugs

This Players Series 10ply Maple drum was dressed with an exotic birdseye maple veneer that has tons of AAA figure and an insane amount of dense grain. We custom painted a new Kandy transparent color custom blended in house called “Caribbean Blue” to natural burst in high gloss that enhances the exotic birdseye figure and pops the grain. This drum was built for Chris Kennedy of QUICK ACTION DRUM LUGS as a show model to promote his quick release custom made lugs. These unique lugs are made so that you only have to partially loosen the tension rods and then turn the whole hoop and the head is released for quick changing. This snare is a 7×14″ maple with all chrome hardware, including UNO quick release lugs, 2.3mm heavy duty triple flanged hoops, a Dunnett R4 swivel throwoff, and Remo drumheads.

8×14″ Natural Birdseye Maple Snare

Deeper snare drums have been extremely popular here at CT Drums. This is a Players Series all maple 10ply shell with an exotic birdseye maple veneer with our natural satin oil to accentuate the unique grain and amazing figure. The thicker Players Series 10ply shell compared to our Standard Series 8ply maple creates a louder crack with an increase in volume and projection, but this 8×14″ snare depth adds extra depth and body so a huge tuning range is available with plenty of aggressive tone. Tune it down for a fatter, warmer sound or crank it up for a brighter snap but with plenty of body and all with that sweet maple snare sound. Built with our standard chrome over solid brass full length tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops for an open tone, a Trick multi step throwoff and german snare wires.

6×14″ Natural Satin Oil Birdseye Maple

A killer looking and sounding snare drum. We used our Players Series 10ply maple shell, added a beautifully figured exotic birdseye veneer, added 6ply maple reinforcement rings and finished in a silky smooth natural satin oil. The 6×14″ shell is a versatile size and the added reinforcement rings creates a cutting sound that is ultra sensitive and plenty of high end and low end. We have done a few of these types of the shells as customers and their friends specifically request this combo. Full length chrome over solid brass tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, and a RCK throwoff top of this snare build.
